Linda Graebner most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tilia, Inc., manufacturer of FoodSaverЎ, the market leader in home vacuum packaging appliances, and VillaWareЎ, a premier line of small electric kitchen appliances, cookware, and kitchen tools. Under her management since 1993, Tilia experienced unprecedented growth and expansion. In 2001, Linda Graebner was honored with the Ernst & Young Manufacturing Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Northern California, the geographic focal point for entrepreneurship in the US. The award recognized her extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to her company and community. Graebner was also cited as one of the "100 Most Influential Bay Area Business Women" by the San Francisco Business Times in 2000, 2001 and 2006 because of her company's success increasing and marketing new technology for the home. Recognized as an expert in the housewares industry, Linda Graebner served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Housewares Association (IHA), and currently serves on their Executive Committee. She is also a Board member of Bradshaw International, makers of premium kitchenware, bakeware, cookware, plastic storage and tabletop products and served as a Board member of Wine.com, the world's largest online wine store through 2005. She serves on the Board of the San Francisco chapter of The Association of Corporate Growth, the premier association for and about professionals involved in middle-market corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, she is very involved in her community. Graebner serves on the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees for the Redwood Day School in Oakland, California, served two terms as a member of the Board of Trustees for Piedmont (CA) Community Church, and served on the Board of Directors for the Oakland Youth Chorus. Ms. Graebner has a strong track record at Dole Food Company, a $3 billion producer of branded fruit and vegetable products where she held various executive level positions in Sales, Marketing and New Business Development. Ms. Graebner has also served as Divisional Director of Marketing and Business Development at James River Corporation, and held a similar position at Crown Zellerbach before James River acquired it. She was also a Senior Associate with the management consulting firm of Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Ms. Graebner has a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Stanford University. She is a single mother with a teenaged daughter, Tracy. They enjoy skiing and hiking together, as well as cooking and home entertaining. |
