Business ADVANCE

Over the past 10 years, PCV's Advising activities have helped more than 250 companies, creating or retaining over 5,000 quality jobs across underserved communities in California.

PCV's Business Advance builds on the success of PCV's Business Advising. This membership program gives entrepreneurs access to an integrated suite of resources that will help them take their businesses to new heights.

HOW IT WORKS

Business Advising delivers ongoing strategic advice, practical business education and access to PCV's unparalleled professional network. Advance members get expert guidance identifying opportunities for growth, building practical plans and accessing the resources they need to realize the full potential of their businesses, in turn creating lasting jobs and economic opportunity for California communities.

MEMBERSHIP FEATURES

  • STRATEGY ROUNDTABLES — In an intensive two-hour session, a single company presents its current challenges and strategies to a team of advisors (including business executives, financiers and lawyers) and gets immediate feedback and advice to make the next business move with confidence.
  • ADVISOR CONSULTATIONS — Members of our business advisor network are available for focused, one-on-one advisory sessions.
  • EDUCATION WORKSHOPS — Prominent business school professors and corporate leaders provide our members with these one-day educational sessions. Members get MBA-level training relevant to their needs and take away practical tools they can put to use immediately.
    • Education Workshops are free to Business Advance members and open to non-members for a fee
  • NETWORK REFERRALS — Professional service providers are recommended by members' peers, eliminating the risk and time involved in finding and hiring these resources.
  • COMMUNITY — Members have many opportunities to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, business advisors and members of Pacific Community Ventures' extended business network throughout the year.

Member businesses are growth-oriented small businesses creating quality jobs in California's low-moderate income communities. We invite companies who fit our eligibility requirements to apply.
