As the Credit Analyst of Pacific Community Ventures’ loan fund, Hyder works with the lending team to underwrite small business loans and support entrepreneurs create strong jobs in their community.
Before coming to PCV, Hyder was in the Peace Corps – Entrepreneurship Education Program in Nicaragua where he developed a background in community economic development. Hyder used grassroots methodologies to coach students, teachers, and entrepreneurs on sparking innovation and economic growth at the local level. He then returned home to work in tax accounting and helped operate his family tax practice where he helped entrepreneurs and individuals navigate their tax liability and make better financial decisions.
Hyder graduated with a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from UC Davis. Hyder hopes to use his background to spark grassroots development that serves people at the local level.
