Robert Porter
Chief Lending Officer
As PCV’s Chief Lending Officer, Robert “Bob” Porter is responsible for connecting small business owners with the resources they need to help them grow and create more jobs in lower-income communities. Bob works with entrepreneurs, our partner community, and other economic development organizations to develop and manage relationships with a diverse community of stakeholders. Bob is also responsible for recruiting, underwriting, and managing PCV’s innovative Small Business “Loan + Advice” and microloan programs. He is responsible for establishing policies and procedures that comply with state and federal regulations while building a high-performance lending team with coaching and professional development. Bob is working to expand PCV small business lending to reach even more California small businesses who are spurring job creation in low-income communities.
Bob is an executive financial manager with over 20 years of experience in various corporate banking and management roles. In addition to his professional experience, Bob has served multiple nonprofits in roles including board membership and Board President.
Bob holds a BS in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University with a double major in Economics and Finance, and an MBA with honors from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.
