Jongwook Choe

Jongwook Choe is a Data Scientist at Pacific Community Ventures (PCV), where he supports the Radiant Data Hub in building data-driven tools and infrastructure for community development financial institutions (CDFIs). His work focuses on data analytics, data engineering, and developing practical solutions that help organizations better organize, understand, and use their data.
Jongwook’s technical background spans Python, SQL, R, data visualization, machine learning, and cloud-based data systems. Before joining PCV, he gained experience applying statistical and computational methods to real-world data through academic research, teaching, and data-focused projects. He is particularly interested in bridging statistical analysis and software development to build tools that are both technically sound and useful to end users.
He holds an M.S. in Statistical Data Science from San Francisco State University and a B.S. in Statistics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis.
