Building Stronger Businesses Through Peer LearningÂ
PCV provides peer learning that connects entrepreneurs to shared solutions, trusted support, and real insights that strengthen businesses.
A community focused on peer learning that gives entrepreneurs support and confidence to build stronger, more sustainable businesses.
Peer-to-peer communities of practice provide a space for small business entrepreneurs to get practical support and tested, real-world solutions from like-minded owners facing similar challenges. These networks create safe spaces to share lessons, test ideas, and build accountability.
Peer learning fosters confidence and continuous growth, helping owners see the return on investment of change management and job quality adoption, turning insights into action. This results in more resilient businesses better equipped to scale and thrive long-term.
Participant TestimonialÂ
"I feel really fortunate for the ways that I was able to participate...Participation is so helpful to what you all are doing. Thank you so much for supporting small businesses and co-ops across the country and for helping people to learn ways to have a healthy and inclusive and kind work culture, and to offer tools and resources to overburdened managers who often really struggle alone. It was really great to participate and I would recommend it to anybody with the time who has a small business or co-op, absolutely."

Past Communities of Practice
The Good Jobs Community of Practice hosted 16 virtual workshop sessions from August 2024-September 2025 to support implementation of good job practices in small businesses.
What We LearnedÂ
PCV's Good Jobs Community of Practice consisted of facilitation by an expert good jobs advisor for half of the meeting, and then semi-structured peer-to-peer facilitation. Sessions focused on good jobs goal-setting; good jobs implementation, including mitigating burnout, sharing roadblocks, pain points, and successes to achieving good jobs goals in the workplace; empathetic leadership; and leadership communications. Business owners were able to reflect on their good jobs journey, engage in peer-to-peer conversation, and develop key leadership skills. They deeply cared about adopting quality jobs, especially in order to support their employees’ wealth-building goals. Employers most appreciated peer and facilitator support during the community of practice sessions.
