Jesus Diaz is Pacific Community Ventures Climate Analyst in the Good Jobs Innovation Lab. As a leader in public health initiatives and long-term advocate, he identifies with PCV’s mission to build a more resilient society through restorative capital and inclusive entrepreneurship. With over 10 years of directing complex research projects and programs, Jesus leverages his expertise to develop impact measurement protocols for evaluating greenhouse gas reduction and community development. He supports PCV’s data analytics team in developing impact metrics that support efficient and effective fund deployment to maximize climate and economic benefits in Justice40 communities.

He recently led As You Sow’s Toxic Enforcement team, overseeing research and evaluation of California’s Proposition 65 listed chemicals found in consumer products. Jesus founded their One-week Institute that selected a set of qualified professionals to practice analysis of corporate reports and metrics. Previously, Jesus worked at the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment Office (OEHHA) researching and analyzing the intersection of toxic constituents and public health, based on Proposition 65 guidelines.

Jesus has a Masters of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to his role at PCV, Jesus is a dedicated father and entrepreneur, committed to working with nature to grow the finest berries.
