360 Total Concept

“There’s no successful formula for our entire business community that doesn’t include Black businesses opening up.”

Founded by Shonda Scott in 2006, 360 Total Concept is a management consulting firm that specializes in project management for public relations, monitoring and contract compliance, logistics, and facilities management. Shonda has grown 360 Total Concept from 1 employee to a dozen over the last decade, and Shonda’s surfed that growth wave to open offices in Los Angeles and Washington D.C.

Even though Shonda has a decade of exceptional growth behind her, her bank still declined to help her scale up to seize even more opportunities. So she came to PCV, and we happily funded them. We’re excited to work together to help her grow and create quality jobs.

Shonda also sits on the Board of the Oakland African-American Chamber of Commerce where she was elected Chair in 2019.  As an entrepreneur, Scott wouldn’t let the unprecedented events of the past year defeat her or the chamber. Instead she got to work aiding businesses in the community, including helping to launch a small business resiliency fund to support Black businesses.

As Shonda told the San Francisco Business Times recently, “There’s no successful formula for our entire business community that doesn’t include Black businesses opening up. That means we have to find resources to ensure that if businesses that are closing for whatever reason don’t reopen, there’s some new ones opening up and there’s some new opportunities emerging in ways that weren’t happening before COVID hit that will fill that void and flourish. Because if we don’t have that scenario, then all of us are going to suffer, if not in this generation, then in the next.
