Anna Margarita Canero
Development Associate
As the development associate of Pacific Community Ventures, Anna works across teams to communicate PCV’s mission and work to a wide network of supporters and funders.
Before joining PCV, Anna was with University Neighborhood Housing Program (UNHP) where she worked on programs and research aimed at advancing housing security and financial stability for Bronx residents. Prior to UNHP, Anna volunteered in the Peace Corps Guinea education program where she taught mathematics, completed school infrastructure improvements, and re-started the program’s STEAM summer camps. Anna also has previous experience in business management, accounting, and impact measurement.
Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA and master’s degrees in International Political Economy and Development (IPED) and economics from Fordham University. In her free time, Anna likes to dive into topics such as geology, astronomy, and tropical plants.
