OAKLAND, CA – [October 22, 2026] – Pacific Community Ventures (PCV) and Aeris Insight, announced today a long-term strategic collaboration to co-design and deliver the CDFI Data Commons, alongside the annual industry conference at OFN in New Orleans. The Data Commons là cái first-of-its-kind shared data and predictive modeling platform designed to help community development financial institutions (CDFIs) better understand financial performance, assess repayment likelihood, speed capital deployment, and measure the social, economic, and environmental impact of their lending.

Through this strategic collaboration, PCV and Aeris will bring complementary chuyên môn to the development of the CDFI Data Commons. Aeris will contribute historical financial and portfolio performance dữ liệu on tham gia Data Commons contributors, with their approval, while PCV will lead predictive modeling, data science, and platform development with the cohort of contributing CDFIs. The pilot version of the CDFI Data Commons will include data representing national lenders, regional lenders, and place-based partners, creating a cross-section of CDFI models and experiences. Current Data Commons pilot partners include Grow America, JUST, LEAF, ACE, and Business Impact NW as well as PCV’s own lending data. As development continues, PCV and Aeris aim to expand participation in 2027 and create opportunities for additional CDFIs to contribute to and benefit from the platform. 

The collaboration reflects a belief that the future of data, technology, and ethical AI in community development finance depends on collective action. Through shared and fractional data services, CDFIs can access capabilities that may be difficult to build independently, creating opportunities to learn from one another, strengthen decision-making, and increase their overall impact 

PCV and Aeris are laying the groundwork for a more connected and data-informed CDFI industry, one better equipped to innovate, adapt to emerging challenges, and expand economic opportunity.
