Small Business Loans
Our small business loan program provides affordable small business loans to bridge the “missing middle” between startup capital and financing from banks: $10,000–$200,000. Our loans are often used to secure or expand a space, purchase equipment, or to increase inventory to meet demand. We don’t require a minimum credit score, and specialize in working with small business owners who’ve had a hard time accessing capital, like female entrepreneurs, immigrant entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs of color, and borrowers that may have been turned down for SBA or traditional bank loans.
Small Business Advice and Mentoring
Pacific Community Ventures leverages technology to provide small business owners with high-quality mentoring, at no cost. Our BusinessAdvising.org platform connects small business owners with expert advisors who help them meet their challenge and seize new opportunities. We put volunteerism to work for local communities by managing a national network of seasoned entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, and senior leaders from major banks, consulting firms, and bigger companies who want to use their hard-earned business knowhow to help business owners seize new opportunities, and create more opportunity in our communities.
Volunteer or Partner With Us
Help a small business create new jobs for working people in their local communities. Don’t worry if you’ve never worked for or run your own small business. We’ll match you as an individual with the right small business based on what you can contribute, or connect your entire organization with a turnkey solution to offer skills-based volunteering to your staff, mentoring and advising services to your clients, or to supplement an existing mentorship program with industry- or discipline-specific advising. When small businesses thrive, our entire economy thrives.
Good Jobs, Good Business
We know that business owners want to provide really good jobs for workers, but sometimes aren’t sure how to raise wages, add benefits, or engage employees in ways that make sense for the bottom line. The Good Jobs, Good Business Toolkit equips business owners with the practical tools and resources to offer good jobs in a way that balances the needs of the business with the needs of employees.
